In the midst of an attack on her Shinobi village, she gritted her teeth. These demons saw to devastation on the community she so valiantly fought for beside her comrades. Through their persistent and unrelenting resort to mass destruction, they individually reached the conclusion that the village would fall—and so the comrades implored their young progeny, Yuuki Mae, a young Genin Ninja, to flee.The glint of determination only retaliated in response, with the comrades around her fighting with bravery. She fled, however, not away from the village; she retrieved the sacred bell that had been regarded with a reverent manner for centuries. Guarded in a temple, the bell sealed away unimaginable powers with one of the most universally renown Bakeneko.Legends and stories that floated among the village claimed that the one to touch the bell would consequently be possessed by the Bakeneko, and unleash chaos upon their world. This word had spread throughout more than just their village, which brought the demons that attacked to their village, wanting to free their leader.Upon making contact with the sacred bell, a scalding light swallowed her surroundings and drove her unconscious.♢ ♢ ♢In waking up, the realization of change did not take long. The world she was trained to know inside out had turned upside down, and the all familiar feudal Japan she grew to love had drastically changed into the present day.
It didn’t take long to notice her new cat-like features, ears flicking as her tail swished slyly. With this, she was cursed with immortality, sharing a body with the most powerful Bakeneko in existence.Yuuki found herself accustomed to this modern world rather quickly, however. With this newfound power, she should probably contribute to the resolution of crimes against humanity.For now, she much preferred her bed, playing games, reading books, and lying around in joy.
